BEKRAF HABIBIE: A Technology and Innovation Festival

 lpmcampus.ukm.ums.ac.id- Saturday (21/4/2018), Bekraf Festival finally comes to Solo. Bekraf Festival is a festival where you can learn the technology behind aerospace, banking, virtual reality, digital startup, makerland & 3D printing, property and also batik. This festival took place at De Tjolomadoe, start from April 20th to 22nd  2018. 

Bekraf is held every year since 2016. However, this is the first time it comes to Solo City. This festival is arranged by PT. Orbit Ventura Indonesia. 

The theme of this year festival is “Technology and Innovation for People: Lihat, Sentuh dan Rasakan Teknologi Inovasi Terbaru untuk Masa Depan Lebih Baik”.

So, what can you find in this festival?
When you firstly come into the room, you will be greeted by many technology such as virtual reality, aerospace, property and batik. Virtual reality makes you be able to explore new experience set by the computer.

You just need to ask the expert to put the virtual reality glasses-or known as goggles- on you then, set the computer on. After that, you can explore many things that you hardly find in real life. With virtual reality, you can explore aerospace just like in front of your eyes.

Besides virtual reality, you can also find many technologies about aerospace. Firstly, you can join in a talkshow about aircraft. There, you will be explained about how they build the aircraft. They explained what makes the aircraft fly, the component of an aircraft, and many more. 

You can also find many miniatures of Indonesian aircraft such as NAM Air, KALSTAR Aviation, etc. Plus, there are several little kids who can explain to you how they built their simple aircraft. It is impressive, isn’t it?

If you are already tired of walking through the festival, you can go to the food festival outside the room. There, you can find plenty of food and drink. If you are hungry, you can choose Soto or Kebab, or Bakso Bakar as the alternative. Here, you can also buy the Es Kepal and Es Alpukat Kocok which are become so popular lately. 

For batik, you can find many form of batik such as skirt, trousers, t-shirt, shirt and blazer. It is not only for display, but also for sale. 

So, if you are interested with one of them, you can buy it and bring it home. Besides batik, you can also buy many wooden craft such as watch, bracelet, earrings, and miniature.

This festival is highly recommended for you. Because, this festival is not only fun but also provides you with many knowledge. You can visit it from 10.00 am to 06.00 pm. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s go here.
